HFG Cylinders

Description

The HFG range of single-acting hydraulic cylinders with failsafe mechanical lock rings offers a reliable solution for long-term load holding in vertical applications. Designed for tasks such as bridge maintenance and structural support, these cylinders feature a load return piston that is threaded along its entire stroke to accommodate the mechanical locking ring. Once the load is raised, the lock ring can be manually screwed down to contact the cylinder body, allowing hydraulic pressure to be safely released while the load remains mechanically supported. Each model includes a tilting saddle as standard to help reduce the risk of misalignment or side loading.
