Imperial Top Collar Hydraulic Nuts for Inspection and Maintenance
The HTN range of top collar hydraulic nuts is specifically designed for applications that require regular, periodic opening of joints for inspection and maintenance. Unlike traditional hydraulic bolt tensioners, these hydraulic nuts are engineered to permanently replace standard hexagon nuts on one side of the bolted joint. Initially, hydraulic tension is applied to achieve the required bolt elongation, and once set, the tension is securely retained via the integrated mechanical load-retaining collar.
The standard range is available for imperial bolt sizes from 1″ to 4″, with custom sizes available upon request. All models are rated for a maximum working pressure of 1500 bar and come equipped with quick-connect hydraulic couplings, making them compatible with Hi-Force air or manually operated hydraulic bolt tensioner pumps and hoses.
